Workshops & self-paced online consent education for Australian university students

“Challenging, informative and refreshing. I could not recommend this training more highly.”

– Isabelle, University of New South Wales

Sex & Consent is an online education platform that centres on the stories of Australian young people’s lived experiences of sex and relationships. It engages students with a relatable, compelling and evidence-based e-learning experience that equips them with the knowledge and tools to navigate sexual consent in their everyday lives.

Sex & Consent is designed to familiarise you with the issues surrounding sexual consent, and to explore the nuances and complexities of young Australians’ experiences of sex and relationships. The course will introduce the key terms and ideas for a communicative approach to consent, as well as best practice for responding to and supporting a friend that has experienced sexual violence.

Australia is experiencing a nationwide reckoning regarding sexual consent. Our national sexual violence statistics demonstrate that what has traditionally been taught to young people about consent is not working. So here at Learning Consent we are doing things differently.

We deliver cutting-edge whole-of-institution consent education, that elevates students' learning experience and drives violence-prevention outcomes for Australian universities.
